My name is Denise Olson

My Story

I have lived in Colorado for close to 15 years now, so I may not be a native, but I call this home for sure. I am originally from Virginia Beach and I may miss the beach from time to time, but I wouldn’t give up the mountains for anything! I love that there are 1,000’s of hiking trails right in our back yard!  My favorite thing to do is hike the incline and I have hiked a couple 14ers, Mt Bierdstat, Mt. Princeton and Pike’s Peak, but I CANNOT wait to do more!

I have an amazing support system at home. My husband Jason is an electrician and the hardest working person I know. He has encouraged me over the years to follow my dreams. My youngest son keeps us on our toes, he is full of joy and VERY active.  My step-daughter plans to enlist in the United States Air Force. I love our military community and protect their rights in a real estate transaction, just as they protect ours.

My bachelor’s degree is in Physics and I have a Master’s degree in Secondary Science Education. I was a teacher in Douglas and Elbert County for 5 years, It is my passion to help support and educate people, this has transferred well into real estate. I take my time to make sure all of my clients understand the home buying and selling process so that they are comfortable and feel confident in their decisions. Currently I am a licensed property and casualty insurance agent, which allows me to have better insight for what homeowners can expect in that aspect as well.

I am very active in my church and in my community. I believe in service and giving back any chance that I can. Whether that is volunteering for our homeless community, city serve day, or helping our veterans, which is very dear to my heart. I am a certified American Warrior Real Estate Professional, which I am honored to be.

Serving my clients with the utmost integrity is my number one priority, as well as, creating long-lasting relationships, you will not be just a client with me, you will become part of my family.
